Subject: Enforcing Electric Public Transportation for a Cleaner Environment

Date: March 16 2021

Summary :

There has been the need to switch our MTA to fully electric. As of April 2019, the city of New York has passed the green new deal. With this, the city wants to help the environment and have a healthier climate for not only the animals but also for the humans who can help prevent ourselves from endangering our home.

Discussion :

Since our environment has been affected with pollution. Global warming has been on the horizon for decades. Therefore, we need to make some changes. A change we want to focus on is the MTA.

Recommendation :

One of the things we can do is to enforce electric vehicles. Even though not all vehicles can go electric in one go. Therefore, we should start from buses, mainly in the city. And then go on to cars.
